Designed with the sway of palm leaves and breezy afternoons in mind, this ready-to-assemble (RTA) club lounger is a prototype for a collaboration with The Columns Hotel in New Orleans.

Outfitted with weather-resistant fabric and a coated steel frame, this porch or sunroom double-seater has an optional backrest. Simply remove the custom brass pins to disassemble or turn into a backless, omnidirectional bench.

 Kipper Thomas Reinsmith designs objects that celebrate unique ways of being in the world. Centering joy as a lead design principle, his work encourages perspective shifts by exploring nontraditional ways of occupying the interior. Before RISD, Kipper worked as a creative director and producer for Square/Block, YouTube, VICE and more.
